Gary has been engaged on tax disputes, investigations and enquiries for over 30 years on “both sides of the fence”, having moved to the profession from HMRC almost 20 years ago. With his acknowledged wealth of experience, he is widely regarded as a “go to” advisor for any matters relating to HMRC. Having held a host of very Senior positions in professional firms, he then set up the award-winning practice Independent Tax in 2013, where he and his team continue to support clients through all manner of HMRC issues securing great outcomes.
